Abstract

VANET(Vehicular Ad-hoc Network) is one of the most growing research area. This has a wide range of application to server under the different scenarios urban and rural areas. It has various challenges where the routing is the one of most challenging issue in high congestion and high mobility. This paper present the comparative study of AODV, OLSR, GRProuting protocols in different scenarios of VANETs both in high congestion and high mobility. The major objective of this research of VANETs to evaluate the performance of routing protocols in urban and highway scenario of VANETs so that vehicle can communicate for voice and videos applications for the safety of human beings, We have selected four scenarios of VANETwith respect to its congestion and speed. Performance evaluation of AODV, OLSR and GSR routing protocol on the basis of performance metric load throughput, and end to end delay, of the network, in these VANETs environments with increasing the number of mobile nodes and mobility of nodes. The Simulation studies are conducted using Opnet.
