Abstract
In order to understand the steps of QC and QAa case study of M4 (Gojra Section) has been taken into consideration. Data has been collected and analyzed according to required design of M4 Standards/ Specifications. There are several reasons for ensuring the quality of a road however, the main reason is economy. There are two main steps in ensuring good quality of the pavement. The first step is preparation of good specifications for the project. The second step is ensuring the specifications must meet during mix design and construction. Therefore the QC and QAare widely used in construction projects for efficient handling. In Pakistan this technique already has been used in motorways (M1, M2 and M3) and got remarkable results. The analysis results of this case study may provide useful guidelines and easy to achieve the specifications of project for the resident engineer in road construction.
