Abstract

"Ijtehaad is the name of such an effort and struggle which is done to seek Deeni commands and the persons who do such effort are called mujtahideen. Among such leaders and mujtahideen, Imam Tirmzi (R.A) is also a name who is known to be a great muhaddis in the field of knowledge due to his "Jame". Since both Terms "Jame" and "Sunan" are implemented on his book, therefore the subject of discussion is to fill the research gap with reference to the explanation of his Ijtehaadi status. At first this discussion includes four different opinions. Regarding fiqhi sect of the Imam Sahib. And after that, by providing / in the light of research analysis of such opinions, this point has been established with seven different arguments that he was mujtahid mutlaq."
