Abstract

The rehabilitation of the people who migrate in a large number from one place to another, normally called refugees or IDPs, has been a serious problem for the human society. Generally a collective migration is the result of lawlessness or oppression by the state. There creates the problem of their settlement where there reached the mob of miserable people due to such discrimination. Specially, to grow a relation to the people already resided there is considered a big challenge. Although in the present time, it is thought that these people would return as soon to their native areas as the situation of peace get restored. But a specific time frame cannot be given in this respect. Owing to this, the problem of the colonization of the immigrants is the most essential in the list, faced by different peoples of the world. Keeping it in view, if we studied the Serah of Holy prophet (PBUH), we would find that in the 7th A.D., when the life was made hard for the Muslims in Makkah, the prophet (PBUH) allowed the suppressed Muslims to migrate to Habsha for the time being. In this way a big group of Muslims migrated there. Afterwards, an organized strategy was developed about the migration of Madina. In this result a new element (refugees from Makkah) was added in the population of Madina while the administrative, economic and social resources of that hamlet could not put up with this migration. The Holy Prophet won the support of the natives (Ansaar) through a splendid policy. All the present religious sects were made included in reciprocal peace treaty. Owing to this, a civil authority was established in Madina. That is how this new state started working. This lay the beautiful foundation of the rehabilitation of the immigrant from Makkah happily. Not only was the process of rehabilitation of the refugees in any of the countries brought to light through this triumphant model of coherent society, but it also brought forward the leading principles about the relation between the new comers and the natives. The coming article discusses related points about the settlement of the immigrants of Makkah.
