Abstract

Ever since the ancient times, the study of the history of Egypt remained an important topic because of its multidimensional culture. A number of renowned scholars in the history belong to this land. We find a variety of advancements and innovations in the fields of philosophy, theology, jurisprudence, etc. in Egyptian history. In this regard, the era of ninth and tenth century A.H., has its own importance due to socio-cultural changes and political transition period. Imam Sharani is one of the innovative scholars of this era in Egypt. The discussion has been made to explore the institutions and scholarly circumstances of Egypt in this era. Also, an analogy has been described about political, social, economic and scholarly trends of Egypt in this article.
