Abstract
The faith in the day of Judgement is the cordinal belief among the articles of faith. It is found in every religion of the world. The concept of accountability of their good and bad deeds are present in all religions, though this is not exactly the same. It is either very brief or ambiguous due to alteration in their scripts. But Islam is the only sematic religion which depicts the whole picture of Doomsday. It unequivocally, mentions the whole scenario in detail. The Quran and Hadith very plainly enlighten and indoctrinate this belief in the minds of Muslims by using allegories and parables of the existing world. Due to its significance, Allah Almighty has mentioned different names and attributes of the Doomsday in His Holy Book. This article studies the concept of Doomsday in Islam and other major religions; Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, ancient Greek and Roman Empire. At the end, the researchers have drawn different results.
