Abstract
There have been an enormous evolution in the literature and linguistic studies particularly in the textual studies. The latter occupied a great importance amid the modern linguistic researches. My aim for this research lay in presenting a brief vision for the readers familiarizing them with the “text grammar” by discussing its origins and the reasons behind its emergences as well as its objectives. The research has also tackled the criteria and tools of this science used by the researcher to achieve the desired outcome. These tools were used and applied on the poem of the poet “‘Umar Abu Rishah” which conveyed the great range the script had possessed for script coherence and showed what was available and was not and concluded with an ending that entailed the result of this research.
