Abstract
In the history of Muslims in each era, there used to arose a personality who struggled for the retrieval of the Ummah. In this regard, Ibn-e-Jozi is prominent among all. Allah Ta’allah has bestowed him plenty of qualities & perfections. Ibn-e-Jozi was extraordinary intelligent, able and a good sermonizer. Variety of books written on Uloom-ul-Qura’n can be found till the period of Ibn-eJozi but under the subject of Uloom-ul-Qura’n, no any other book can be found comprising various kinds of theologies regarding Uloom-ul-Qura’n like Funoon-ulAfnan fi Uloom-el-Qura’n. Hence, it is the uniqueness of Ibn-e-Jozi under Funoon-ulAfnan fi Uyoon-e-Uloom-ul-Qura’n, in which different arguments of Uloom-ul-Qura’n are discussed. In this article, an overview of various aspects of Funoon-ul-Afnan fi Uyoon-e-Uloomul-Qura’n is taken.
