Abstract
This narratological paper is a critical study of first-person narrator and its two major categories: Narrating-self and Experiencing-self; and their different dimensions and aspects through Saud Alsanousi's Arabic novel Bamboo Stalk. The paper includes a theoretical overview of narrating-self and experiencing-self in first-person narration; study of narrating-self and its different dimensions through selected novel; and study of experiencing-self and its different dimensions through selected novel.
