Abstract
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has imposed great stress upon seeking the knowledge of inheritance and has declared it as a half of the knowledge. From the time of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) this sort of knowledge has been attained with great interest and some Sahaba got popularity and speciality in this art. After the period of Sahaba the scholars of Islam drew due attention to Inheritance Law and compiled many books. In modern era many soft wares have been introduced which help in faster solution of a problem. In this law one can comes across some individual opinions of Sahaba (r.a) which are against the unanimous opinions of Sahaba. Such opinions are required to be pointed out and clarified their position with arguments from the other side. In this article an attempt has been made to bring in forth the different views of some Sahaba regarding the law of Inheritance in a scholarly man.
